56th National Mathematics Talent Contests (NMTC) 2024: Stage-1 Results Announced

The results for the 56th National Mathematics Talent Contests (NMTC) 2024, conducted by The Association of Mathematics Teachers of India (AMTI), Chennai, have been announced, and we are thrilled to share that 186 students from Matrix have successfully qualified for the final stage of this prestigious competition. This outstanding achievement is a testament to the hard work and mathematical aptitude of our students, as well as the continuous support from our dedicated teachers.

Breakdown of Matrix Selections:

The NMTC Stage-1 Results competition, known for its rigorous standards, provides a platform for young mathematicians across the nation to showcase their talents. Matrix students performed exceptionally well in all levels of the competition.

Here’s the breakdown of our selections:

Primary Level: 13 students have qualified, setting a strong foundation for their future academic endeavors. These budding mathematicians have demonstrated remarkable potential at such a young age.

Sub-Junior Level: 45 students from Matrix have made it to the final stage in this category, showcasing their growing analytical skills and love for problem-solving.

Junior Level: Our junior students have truly shone, with 114 selections in this category. The NMTC Stage-1 results reflect the rigorous training and intellectual curiosity fostered at Matrix.

Inter Level: 14 students have qualified in the inter category, which is an impressive achievement, considering the level of competition. Their perseverance and commitment to excelling in mathematics are truly commendable.
