Postponement of NTS Stage-II Examination

NTSE 2019 stage 2 exam date postponed; to be held on June 16

National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has postponed the date for the conduct of National Talent Scholarship Exam (NTSE) stage 2. According to the circular released by Educational Survey Division, the NTSE 2019 stage 2 will now be conducted on June 16 (Sunday) which was earlier scheduled to be held on May 12, 2019. This comes after NCERT increased the number of scholarships from 1000 to 2000 last week.

NTSE stage 1 was conducted on November 3, 4, 18 and 25, 2018. Almost all States and UTs had released the result of stage 1 between January and March but due to increase in the number of scholarships, some states have withheld their result and others will release a revised merit list in April.

The NTSE stage 2 result 2019 will be announced tentatively in the month of September, 2019 in the online mode. The admit card for stage 2 shall be available for download in May on the official website of NCERT. Candidates will have to enter their NTSE stage 1 roll number to download the admit card.
